I am a focused, dedicated creative resource for corporations, agencies and design firms with extensive art directing background. For me, creativity flows when collaborating with writers and strategists— when there is meaning to the work—therefore driven by ideation, concepts, words, stories— translated into visual narratives.
I am also a color expert and a lifestyle advocate.
My training in the design service industry began in
strategic branding and CPG, servicing brands including Coca Cola, IBM and The Limited Corp.
Unsatisfied and with a baby in tow, I began seeking a
slower, better way. So I moved out of NYC and launched a
boutique design studio, Lab Inc. with the intention of
being more connected to my clients and their products.
Upon building relationships with brilliant writers and marketers, I found more connection to the work. My
focus evolved into the Luxury Goods market and
Lifestyle brands including TAG Heuer, Bulthaup,
H. Stern, and Sidney Garber.
My philosophy is grounded in a personal commitment to get out of my head and tap into my intuition. This helps me to evolve from intellect to creative thinking.
Architectural color is a very part-time discipline— I create color palettes and decor accents for private residences and offices. With over 10 years of experience I have provided services for real estate, office suites, and private residences, and specialize in Farrow and Ball, Donald Kaufman and Benjamin Moore.
I truly believe that color and wall surfaces should remain a backdrop from which function and inhabitants taste should flow. Therefore whites, off-whites and grays tend to be
my favorite tones.
My most rewarding endeavor has been the conception, creation and launch of The Priti Collection, a small lifestyle
yoga tools product line that supports the seamless integration between practice, work and play— from Mantra To Midnight. This project has created boundless potential, leading me through different doors— product development, sourcing, ecommerce, writing an online magazine, manufacturing, importing, UX/UI, back-end site development, SEO and social media.
With relationship to the production of a handwoven cotton blanket, I am committed to environmental and ethical standards for weavers, sustainable and organic and green farming, water catchments, non GMO seed making and azo-free and natural dyeing practices in Southern India, sharing innovative farming practices from the East to the West.
In addition, I have been providing blankets to those in need; a humanitarian effort called "Sharing the Warmth" —to NYC Rescue Mission, Toni's Kitchen, St Luke's Episcopal Church and Kids of Katmandu— with funding, volunteering and blanket donations.
Would Love To Hear From You.
